Dental Implants in Queen Creek, AZ
Missing a tooth can make it harder to chew comfortably, speak clearly, or feel confident about your smile. Dental implants can provide a stable way to replace missing teeth and restore your everyday function. At Marketplace Dental Excellence in Queen Creek, AZ, our dentist will evaluate your oral health and discuss your tooth replacement needs to determine whether dental implants are a suitable option for you.
What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are a tooth replacement option for people who are missing one or more teeth. An implant uses a small post placed in the jawbone to support a replacement tooth, such as a dental crown.
Unlike removable tooth replacement options, an implant is designed to provide a stable foundation for the replacement tooth. Our dentist can evaluate your teeth, gums, and overall oral health to determine whether dental implants are a suitable option for you.
Who Can Benefit From Dental Implants?
Dental implants may be an option if you are missing one or more teeth and want a stable way to replace them. They can be used to replace a single missing tooth or support a restoration when multiple teeth are missing.
Our dentist will evaluate your oral health, gums, and jawbone before recommending dental implants. Your individual needs and the condition of your mouth will help determine whether implants are an appropriate tooth replacement option for you.
How Do Dental Implants Work?
Dental implants replace a missing tooth by using an implant post as a stable foundation for a replacement tooth. The treatment is completed in stages, allowing the implant to heal and become stable before the final restoration is placed.
01
Implant Placement
The implant post is placed into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth. The post acts as the foundation for the replacement tooth.
02
Healing and Integration
The implant is given time to heal and integrate with the surrounding jawbone. The length of this stage can vary depending on your individual treatment needs.
03
Abutment and Replacement Tooth
Once the implant has healed sufficiently, an abutment connects the implant to the replacement tooth. A dental crown or other restoration is then used to complete the tooth replacement.
Benefits of Dental Implants
Dental implants can offer a stable way to replace missing teeth while supporting everyday oral function. Depending on your needs, implants may offer benefits such as:
- Replace missing teeth: Implants can be used to replace one or more missing teeth.
- Provide a stable foundation: An implant is anchored in the jawbone to support a replacement tooth.
- Support everyday function: Replacing missing teeth can help restore your ability to chew comfortably.
- Restore your smile: A replacement tooth can help fill gaps caused by missing teeth.
- Offer a long-term tooth replacement option: With proper care and regular dental visits, dental implants can provide a lasting solution for missing teeth.

Update to my review from a while back. I started going myself last week. As someone who worked in dental for ten years and still has bad dental anxiety, Dr. Stone is great. I presented with tooth pain. Although he tried to convince me to save the tooth (as that is his job) he ultimately listened to what I wanted and took it out. The tooth gave him a challenge, but the entire time he kept me calm... made me laugh... and didnt make me feel bad when I needed breaks. I have full faith he will help me get my dental health back and in turn making me more confident in my smile. Highly recommend. My 6 year old daughter had her first dental appointment and cleaning today. I was a nervous wreck but the staff was so amazing and kept her calm (and I) calm. I did not get the technicians name that did her x-rays but the technician was so patient and calm and quick with her. Dr. Smith then came in and made my daughter feel so comfortable and helped her and us, as her parents, understand the areas she needed to work on. Cari the hygienist explained to my daughter what she was doing every step of the way so she wouldn't be scared and they even gave us an estimate for what we were looking at for the next 6 month appointment. Yasmira and the rest of the staff up front were so friendly and welcoming. Our visit overall was wonderful from start to finish. The office is very clean and cozy and feels like a home instead of dental office. Highly recommend for all your family needs!Posted on Google![]()

I had a root canal done, and I was very pleased with my treatment. Both the dentist and the dental hygienist were very very professional. I’ve been a person that’s always dreaded going to the dentist, but no more not at this office.. Everyone is extremely professional, courteous, and understandingPosted on Google![]()
